My Story

I’m taking part in the Canoe the Wye Challenge to raise money for The ELY Memorial Fund.

This summer, I’ll be paddling 8 miles along the River Wye and then hiking a further 6 miles up the Symonds Yat Gorge as part of a team of 12 supporters taking on this challenge together.

While the scenery in the Wye Valley will be incredible, the day itself will be a real test of endurance, teamwork and determination. Every mile paddled and every step climbed is in support of something far more important.

The challenge is raising funds for the ELY Memorial Fund, created to honour Emma’s memory and ensure her legacy continues by supporting families through unimaginable loss and promoting road safety through young driver education.

I’ve committed to doing my part to help the team reach our overall target of £6,000 and any support you can give would mean a huge amount.
